I bought this as a gift for my husband who is an avid fisherman. The bag was perfect for his fishing lures, line and etc. but the zipper was not sewn in very well. I had to sew the zipper on one side so it would not come out of the track. Otherwise the perfect size.I don't have room in the house for a dedicated fly tying station, so I bought this to organize my tools, feathers, chenille, etc. Bought a few pouches and a tray, but it works for what I wanted. If I want to tie flies, everything is together in one spot.We used this bag once. It has come apart at the lid already. The fabric has completely frayed and has created a hole in the bag. And no... the bag was not overloaded. Not sure I would recommend at all.Wasn’t expecting how big this thing was going to be. Definitely can fit all your fishing accessories and more. Feels really heavy duty and durable.Don’t waste your money. This bag fell apart after 3 uses!The seam ripped after only one trip with modest load. Quality seems low.Well built.Will hold everything that you need to go fishing.I’ve been hesitant to write a review on this tackle bag as I’ve only been out with it 10 or so times. But what I can say is it’s yet to let me down. I went ahead with the medium size and it’s just big enough for me. I’ve used several brands of 3600 size boxes and they’ve all fit just fine. I would highly recommend this bag at this point. Functions great, and feels of better quality than some bargin-bin house brand from a big box store, and it’s even cheaper.I also wasn’t really sold on the whole red camp coloring, but will say it makes it very easy to find in the dark. Another huge pro is the zippers. I’ve used lots of cheaper bags where sand from the beach kills the zippers. I’ve yet to feel any crunchy-ness with these.To anyone considering this bag, just buy it. It’s cheap, it holds up, and it holds a lot. I’m sure if it can hold up to the abuse of salt water it’ll be fine for anything fresh water.
