Introduced to me by a friend for long range tuna fishing... Excellent for making super clean connections with long leaders in kayak fishing. You must be careful to close the crimp securely, but not crush it and pinch/ cut the mono. With a little practice & experimentation (break strength testing) you will have it. Need a good set of crimps for best results. Inspect before using: On rare occasion you will find a crimp that has sharp inner surface from the manufacturing process. Ream them smooth or throw them out.
