The design of the strap/straps and the rod holder on the bottom of the bag.These two features work as advertised and will keep me coming back if I need another one.If your looking for a bag to take fishing, be realistic about what you want. This is the perfect bag for the minimalist fisher like me. Plenty of room for more tackle than you need, your line and bait, your pliers, knives, and anything else you might need to fish.If your the prepper type fisherman, wanting to carry everything in the world for any possible scenario, you don’t really need a bag with the name fishing in it, look up tactical/hiking bags and buy a large one with lots of pockets and molle webbing. Done.What makes this bag great is that it is small and efficient. If I have a hike to my fishing spot I can wear it as a backpack, with nice wide comfortable straps.
