This is a great cabinet for fishing gear. It included a shelf one can use for a large tacklebox, and a shelf that comes with a rack to hold 7 various sizes fishing trays which is removable. and can hold my PLANO 3600s with room to spare on each side (so 3700s would fit) and also holds a smaller tray that is un-sized. The rods if you store as I do with reels need you to skip a space between each one: the rod holders on each side will accommodate six rods without reels or 3 each with reels. The holder is close to the floor and my 7'3" rod is able to stand on it with about 2 inches to spare from my close to 8 foot ceiling. I have got two pairs of winter fishing gloves, a jar of Gulp! , two powdered steel rod holders, a lead weight dial, all fitted in as well. AND it has a second shelf that holds a large-sized tacklebox; also with room to spare. I have my net affixed to one side of the pole-holders with a small pole and my two tall rods on the opposite side. I could fit two more rods easily. It is a great design, well-executed and I just love having all my stuff ready to go and organized in one place.
