An Introduction to Fly Fishing For Trout is a very good book for the first timer or novice fly fisherman. The authors are very good writers and make the information easy to understand. The book has very good photography and illustrations that support the written material very well. Its clear the authors have a lot of fishing experience and that helps them get to the heart of the fishing topic much to the benefit of the reader. Of course no book can make a beginner a master fly fisherman and I do recommend going with an experienced friend or guide to solidify the skills learned in this book.
